Welcome to the Counselor Clubhouse! Be my Guest at what I hope will be a place where you can get creative ideas, learn more about Disney, and be inspired to be the best Disney Educator you can be! As a school counselor for over 25 years and a Disney-obsessed fan since forever ago I have worked hard to incorporate Disney into my practice whenever possible. My favorite Disney character is the Fairy Godmother. I love that she can take her magic wand and make dreams come true. This is how I feel about being a school counselor. What is more magical than working with a student all year on anger management and then having them come tell you they used one of the strategies you worked on and it helped! Or a student who was having trouble reading and by the end of a school year can’t get enough of reading books. There is nothing more magical than education. I will be using Disney Parks, Disney movies, Disney history, Disney food, and more to inspire you and your practice. Feel free to either take my idea and run with it or make it better! So come along with me as we explore all the education Disney has to offer!  Â
